One of the masons in my Amaranth Chapter has been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). There is no cure, and no treatment, though he is involved involved in a research study. His daughter is a triathlon competitor, and this year, for the IronMan Triathlon, she is raising money for ALS in her father's name.
Lew Vogel has been active in the masonic lodge for as long as I can remember, and has always been willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Now he is fighting a disease, and he needs the helping hand.
for more information on how to support Reina in her efforts to raise money for ALS Research.
I'd like to encourage all of you to spread the word.

I'd just like to congratulate, Bro. Stephen Ashman of New Jersey for being elected the 39th International Master Councilor, and British Columbia's very own Bro. Matt Ross for being elected the 39th International Congress Secretary. I'm sure that they will both do a great job and do the Order proud.

My name is Catie and I am a member of the Organization of Triangles in NY. I am also the Metropolitan Division Sweetheart. I kind of stumbled upon this community and thought it was pretty cool! Anyone having an Installation sometime soon or any fun events? My local chapter, Wantagh Chapter just had installation and the newly installed Master Councilor gives me much hope that the chapter won't die out (since I was pretty sure they were going to for the longest time).

This Saturday I will be walking the five mile trail at Point Defiance with the Job’s Daughters of Washington, and I am looking for sponsors. This is called the Hike for H.I.K.E. (Hearing Impaired Kids Endowment). We are raising money for our International Philanthropic, which help to buy hearing aides and pay for surgeries for kids with hearing impairments who cannot afford it. If you are interested in sponsoring me, please let me know. All donations are tax deductible.
If you would like more information about H.I.K.E. Please visit http://www.missouriiojd.org/HIKE/
If you would like more information about Job’s Daughters, please visit http://www.waiojd.org/
Thank you for your support!

Hello there, I just wanted to say Hi before I got too far into this. I am the State Sorority Vice President of Washington DeMolay Sorority and am a Past Honored Queen from Bethel #45
Renton. I just really want to say that if you have any questions regarding Sorority or anything, please feel free to talk to me. Anyway, that's all I guess.

Hey all! Just found this community and thought I'd say hi! I'm Jessica, currently a state officer in both Jobies and Demolay Sorority for Washington state. (Glad to answer any questions people have about sorority, but please don't bash it until you know more about it. It's a good program, in my opinion.) Well, enough with the introduction. Anyone else from WA on here? Current Mood: awake

ok, so i've been a jobie since i was 12. not that its a huge part of my problem but im a little confused by something. i've been randomly looking around My Space
for jobie/masonic groups and such. well i found one and a girl is talking about being a member of "Sunrise and Meridian Triangles".
what is that and where did it come from??????? i've never heard of it before and was thrown off, i know there's alot of other masonic organizations out there, i've just never heard of that one before...
anywho, just hoping im not the only one who feels like they have been living under a rock...

I would just like to once again announce my STRONG distaste for sorority in Washington State.
There are more girls in washington demolay than there are girls...the girls run the show now.
They are illegal. The demolay have been opening there meeting, going to recess so that all the sorority girls can come in and then they conduct their business together. Some chapters have been using sorority in their arch of steel! I cannot fully express my outrage at this. sorority, no matter what anyone says, IS harming Job's Daughters and Rainbow in Washington.
I have been assured by the dad advisor of Puyallup Chapter, that they will NOT be opening a sorority chapter in puyallup. And that they have asked to have the sweetheart program back..they have been denied, but still they ask.
If sorority were to disolve in Washington, and they were to bring back the sweetheart program, I am very confident that Jobies and Rainbow would have a large boost in their membership, because the girls in sorority would have no choice if they want to remain active with the demolay but to join.
I cannot possibly support the sorority program in washington, and I apologize if there are any WA sorority on this community, or WA demolay, that I might offend.
